kimono
The Japanese kimono is the Japanese traditional clothing (in the form of a letter T), worn primarily for special occasions. it is rectilinear, falling to the feet or ankles, with very long sleeves,which sometimes touch the ground for young women's kimonos. The kimono is always fastenend from the left side on right side.
The principal differences between female and male kimonos are the designs and the color. A man's kimono is usually a dark plain colour: black, indigo blue, green and sometimes maroon and generally without design.
yukata
Yukata is a type of casual clothing, without lining, usually made of cotton. The yukatas are worn in summer. They are also worn to the onsen (hot baths), where they are often provided by the establishment.
